Default Training Pants

Looking for reviews on cloth training pants. It's pretty much impossible to get Bear into a diaper these days since he doesn't like them, but he's not fully potty trained yet. I'm looking for a cloth trainer that pulls on like underwear, but preferable has snaps on one or two sides for ease of accident cleanup. Also needs to be leak proof since we will be using them to go out.

I currently have some Kushies ones that are useful, but not my favourite.

What can you recommend? He's around the 35lbs mark, wearing size 3 to 4 clothes. Please keep cost in mind. :-)

I liked the I think it's bummis? they have monkeys on it... cheap, water proof (up to a point lol) and cute... little bulky though.
if you find a good one let me know.

I never found any within our budget that worked well. Everything recommended on DS was more than I wanted to spend. And when she peed, she peed a lot so the Kushies never worked at all for us. Around the house we mostly used nothing at all or the padded Gerber training underwear with the pull on plastic pant or a ME Airflow cover over top. Since that wasn't a leak proof solution I'll admit I cheated and used disposable pull-ups for going out

i second the quilted training pants, and if you are nervous, then go for a mother ease cover or something like that.

I bought 2 used Happy Heiny's. One had snaps on the side, they both had liners. They totally absorbed a full bladders worth and I just washed them lots or used them when going out. If I could remember where they are stored I'd be happy to sell them but I have had no luck on that mission.

I was also really interested in the Motherease trainers as they seemed to have really good reviews too.

A training pant is an aid for toilet training, which is much like a traditional disposable diaper. Seventh Generation Chlorine Free Training Pants are hypoallergenic.

This is a very old thread, and I laughed when I read it again. We ended up using superundies, many, many moons ago. Best training pants ever!! Only problem, he trained so fast after buying them that they were almost new when I sold them. Okay, so not really a problem. lol
