i have spent a little bit of time in the shop and have always been given a fabulous history lesson, and have had David (the shop owner) explain many things to me. he helped me when i was looking for a kimono and tabi sock pattern when i was researching for XCenedra s and Caroline s kimono.
if you like Japanese stuff, Dave is the man to see. he also has several kimonos on hand, both for men and women.

I talked to him at the antiques show that was in LaSalle in June. I was amazed when he said that several of the samurai swords he had for sale were 400 years old. He really does have a lot of fascinating items for those who are into Japanese history.

he is so well educated. the ROM even calls upon him for appraisals. i can listen to him talk for hours.
